The Fiji National Rugby League will not make any statement in relation to the issues regarding Cronulla Sharks player Jason Bukuya.

FNRL general manager Tomi Finau said they will wait for the official confirmation of his six month suspension after which they will take further action.

However, Bukuya is unlikely to make the Fiji Bati team for the Rugby League World Cup as he is being investigated by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority for allegedly taking performance enhancing drugs.

Meanwhile, the Rugby League World Cup will be held in October and Fiji is pooled with Ireland, Australia and England.
