The Fiji National Rugby League has confirmed that former General Manager Tomi Finau was removed due to non-proper acquittal of accounts.

FNRL Chairman Reverend Immanuel Rueben said Finau failed to record some of the financial transactions from last year which they are currently investigating.

Rueben said the board will have to decide on whether the matter will be reported to the Police.

Fijivillage made several calls to Tomi Finau for comments but our calls remain unanswered.

Finau earlier told us that he had a one year contract with FNRL until December last year.

He also said that he was not removed from the position.
