The Fiji Rugby League received a major boost ahead of the Rugby League World Cup after getting news that West Tigers winger Marika Koroibete is likely to return to the NRL.
Koroibete has been out of action for two months after suffering an elbow injury and his return has come as a surprise for the FNRL.
FNRL General Manager Tomi Finau said they are optimistic that Koroibete will still be available for World Cup selection.
Meanwhile, Fiji is in Pool A with defending champions Australia, England and Ireland for the Rugby World Cup in October.
