The Fiji National Rugby League is happy with Lote Tuqiri's decision to switch to Rugby Union.

This is after Irish club Leinster confirmed the arrival of dual code international Tuqiri on a 3 month deal which rules him out of the Rugby League World Cup in October.

The Fiji National Rugby League General Manager Tomi Finau said they are happy with what has transpired.

Meanwhile, in the NRL semifinals, Fiji Bati hopefuls John Sutton of the Rabbitohs will clash with Sisa Waqa's Storm side this Friday at 9.30pm.

In the other semifinals, Cronulla Sharks who will have the service of former Fiji Bati player Jason Bukuya will meet the Queensland Cowboys who will have the Sims brothers, Ashton and Tariq, at 2.30pm this Saturday.

Sonny Bill Williams Sydney Roosters side will meet Manly Sea Eagles at 7pm this Saturday while Ben Barba's Canterbury Bulldogs face Akuila Uate and Kevin Naiqama's Newcastle Knights at 6pm this Sunday.
