With the time ticking, the Fiji National Provident Fund's staff Association is keeping its fingers crossed that the Fund will stick true to its words and pay out the Cost of Living Adjustments.
This follows the ruling by the Disputes committee for the Fund to pay up within 30 days which according to Fiji Bank Employees Union General Secretary Pramod Rae ends this week.
Rae said the Union has faith that the Fund will respect the ruling by the Committee.
The union members employed by FNPF went on strike on 13th December 2007 when FNPF refused to grant salary adjustments for 2005 and 2006, performance salary increments and bonuses for 2007.
The FNPF is yet to comment.
