The Fiji National Provident Fund is remaining mum on any issues regarding the 5 percent Cost Of Living Adjustment the Disputes Committee had ordered them to award their employees early last month.

The Disputes Committee had ruled that the fund was to award the FNPF employees who are Fiji Bank Employees Union members a 5 percent COLA increase within 30 days.

FNPF Chief Executive Aisake Taito said since the last date of the 30 days falls on the 11th, which is this Friday, they will not make any comments.

The FNPF employees went on strike on the 13th of December, 2007 and according to General Secretary Pramod Rae they have not heard anything from the Fund but have utmost faith in the Fund that it will stick to what the Disputes Committee has decided.
