The Fiji Nursing Association's legal action against the interim administration has been filed in court.
This has been confirmed by Association General Secretary, Kuini Lutua who said that as of this week, their case against Bernadette Rounds Ganilau, in her capacity as Interim Minister for Labour, has been filed by their legal advisers, Howards Barristers and Solicitors.
The members of the Association around the country had gone on strike for 16 days from midnight July 24th, wanting a restoration of the 5% pay cut for civil servants imposed by the interim government.
The matter was not referred to compulsory arbitration by the Interim Labour Minister, which has now resulted in legal action by the FNA against the interim administration.
