The Fiji Nursing Association (FNA) is now pondering their next move as they have received over 6 offers of land for sale, after their land earmarked for their $12M Retirement Village, has encountered a few problems.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Fiji Nursing Association General Secretary Kuini Lutua said that the land between Nadi and Sigatoka which they had in mind, has been encountering lease problems and is still undeveloped at the moment.

However, she added that in the past few days, the FNA have been offered land for sale from many different land owners who know of the problems they are facing with their current location.

Meanwhile, Lutua added that they are working in partnership with some overseas investors looking at options to take to get the Retirement Village project off its feet.

On questions whether the finances to fund the project will come from the member’s savings or whether they will take a loan, Lutua added that the executive board members are yet to decide on the issue and what land they look at.
