Members of the Fiji Nursing Association have walked off their jobs a few minutes ago after they rejected the interim regimes proposals yesterday afternoon.

The FNA refused to return to the meeting scheduled with the Interim Public Service Minister Poseci Bune at around 5pm yesterday afternoon, as Bune along with the Permanent Secretary for Health Dr. Lepani Waqatakirewa and two PSC officials waited for their arrival.

Lutua confirmed after meeting Bune earlier this afternoon that they rejected the offer from the interim regime as they refuse to settle for the one percent restoration of the five percent pay cut.

Speaking to Village news, Interim Public Service Minister Bune said they are shocked that their offer has been rejected.
