The Fiji Nursing Association members continue to gather at the various picketing sites around the country as they prepare to spend the night away from work.

FNA General Secretary Kuini Lutua told Village News that they are happy with the turnout at the various centers and their strike is having the desired effect.

Lutua said they are currently planning to settle all the centers down for the night and ensure that striking nurses are provided meals.

There are over 200 nurses now gathered at the FNA headquarters and Lutua said only Ba reported the lowest number with only 60 percent of their members walking off their jobs.
