The Fiji Nursing Association said they are now awaiting a phone call from the Interim Prime Ministers Office before they are expected to meet to try and end the nation wide strike.

After meeting behind closed doors for 7 hours yesterday, the FNA National Council put together a paper which was delivered to Commodore Frank Bainimarama last night.

They are hoping that Commodore Bainimarama will be able to look through their paper and call the meeting today, however, there is still no indication when Commodore Bainimarama will meet with FNA General Secretary, Kuini Lutua on the nurses strike.

No meeting has taken place and we are expected to get a confirmation on the meeting later this afternoon.
