Flour Mills of Fiji which produces flour and sharps in the country is now trying to meet with the officials of the Commerce Commission to try and understand the method used to grant a six percent increase in the wholesale and retail prices of flour and sharps.

Group Chief Executive, Ram Bajekal said the six percent increase does not reflect what they had earlier asked for in their submission.

He said they did not receive what they expected especially with the cost of producing flour and sharps going up by more than ten percent.
