The FMF Flying Fijians, against all odds have created history in breaking the 20 year drought defeating Wales by 38-34 in one of the most thrilling World Cup matches of all times to secure a quarterfinals showdown with South Africa.
Speaking to Village sports, FMF Flying Fijians Coach Ilivasi Tabua said that the boys took the management's advice to heart and that was to win and quote "write history today" unquote.
Tabua adds that today’s win seals the aim at the World Cup and that was to reach the quarterfinals.
The FMF Flying Fijians will now face South Africa in their quarterfinal match in Marseille on Fiji Day, that's Monday next week.
In other matches played this morning, New Zealand defeated Romania by 85- 8, Australia defeated Canada by 37-8, Scotland defeated Italy 18 - 16.
