His name stands out in the Coca-Cola Games record books as the only athlete who has set a national record and also has 3 records in the different grades.

FM96 breakfast show host Antonio Rahiman has achieved a result that has been hard for athletes in the past years to break from the junior, inter and senior grades.

Rahiman recalls starting off from Saint Thomas High School where he set a record in the junior grade high jump in 1998 with a jump of 1.84 metres.

Two years later in his second year in the inter-grade he once again set a record of 1.96 metres which at the moment has not been achieved by any senior grade athlete coming into the Coca-Cola Games this year.

In 2002 the Waiyavi lad from Lautoka joined Marist Brothers High School where he won gold in the high jump, long jump and also in the 4x100 metres relay where he was named the Coca-Cola Games best Male Athlete.

His colourful career came into the limelight in 2003 when he set a new high jump record of 2.09 metres which is currently the national record.

With only 2 days to go for the Coke Games, Antonio Rahiman has also given some tips to those who are going for gold.
