Nadawa residents who attended a Fiji Labour Party campaign meeting last night called on FLP’s Proposed candidate, Pratap Sen to stop talking about the past and tell them on what the Labour Party will do for them in the future.

Sen had started off by talking about coups and even added that there was a coup in 1999 which is false.

A few people then told Sen to stop dwelling on the past as it will not benefit them in any way.

FLP President, Lavenia Padarath was also present in the meeting.

The FLP’s proposed candidates were also questioned by the Nadawa residents on whether they can sign an agreement with them on the promises they were making.

They said that for too long, people have made many promises before the elections but these have not been kept after the elections.

FLP’s proposed candidate, Deo Narain said that they have a manifesto which is the list of things that they will do if they are elected.
