The Fiji Labour Party Leader has this morning raised serious concerns about an article published in the Fiji Times yesterday that he has discontinued proceedings against News Limited in his billion-dollar lawsuit for defamation.
Speaking to Fijivillage News, Mahendra Chaudhry said the article is wrong and is mischievous.
Chaudhry said what he has done is changed the number of defendants from six to three and the proceedings have not being terminated.
He said apart from this case, three other deformation case have also been filed against the Fiji Times.
Fiji Times is yet to comment.
