FLP Blamed For Problems
Speaking at the parties 45th National Convention in Nadi, Party President Raman Pratap Singh said that FLP has failed to look into the needs of the people even when they were in power and now the grass root people are suffering.
Singh said the party has also supported the 2006 coup which has seen the country going backwards.
When contacted this afternoon, Fiji Labour Party Spokesperson Lekh Ram Vayeshnoi said it’s no use commenting on the issue as National Federation Party has been rejected by people three times and it’s not worth commenting.
Meanwhile, Chief Guest Western lawyer and former Fiji Law Society Vice President Tupou Draunidalo praised the stand of the party.
In her opening speech Draunidalo stressed that past years electoral result for the party was disappointing but added that the response was sign of greatness.
Addressing the audience on their theme, Rebuilding Draunidalo said that despite anything that happens there should not be any reason for the approval of national treason.
The Annual General Meeting was held at the Korovuto Secondary School.
