The Fiji Labour Party is in.
The FLP has today confirmed that the Party President, Jokapeci Koroi and leader, Mahendra Chaudhry will attend the first round of political party talks with the Interim Prime Minister on Monday.
Chaudhry said the Labour Party welcomes Commodore Bainimarama's commitment to hold elections as soon as practically possible, and the FLP wishes to see tangible progress being made towards arriving at a definite date for general elections.
He said the election in March 2009 is now out of the question but due to the current climate of political uncertainty, a definite election date needs to be determined.
When Fijivillage News questioned Chaudhry when elections can be held, he said the electoral reforms need to be decided before elections preparations can start.
