The Fiji Institute of Technology Hospitality and Tourism School will have a campus in Nadi with the state of the art commercial kitchen facilities, that will be unmatched by any tertiary institution in the South Pacific.

Work on the Nadi Campus Project has recommenced after the signing off of revised contracts with the Builder and support services engineers.

The Institute Director Dr Ganesh Chand said this project will enable FIT to offer the quality of education in the area of Hospitality and Tourism

The Interim Education Minister Filipe Bole said the project has a vital role in training of students in Fiji and that FIT has primary responsibility for educating and training the people. Bole said the Interim Government stood ready to support FIT through all means.

The Nadi FIT campus will have a 200 seat multipurpose lecture theatre, computer labs and a library. The campus will be able to cater for 3000 students at any one time.
