Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority Staff Association Executive Board members are expected to meet tonight to discuss their next step with regards to the 5% COLA increase.

General Secretary of the Association, Kenneth Zinck confirms that since a new FIRCA Board has been appointed early this year, they will be looking at carrying out dialogue with the new Board chairman, Peceli Vocea.

The Former Board had agreed to a 2% for Bonus and they are currently lobbying for a 5% COLA increase.

FIRCOSA had threatened to take legal action if the COLA payments had not been done in January as former Board Chairman, Jitoko Tikolevu had earlier promised.
