About 400 workers of the Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority may go on strike just before Christmas or in early January 2008 after their demands to have a 5 percent Cost of Living Adjustment payout was rejected yesterday by the Authority.

Speaking to Village News, FIRCOSA General Secretary, Kenneth Zinck reveals that members of the Association were happy that FIRCA amended their log of claims but the move to refuse the 5 percent COLA payout was not a good move.
