We currently face alot of challenges and right now x-ray machines are needed at our borders to help with risk management, assessment and profiling.
Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority Chief Executive Officer Jitoko Tikolevu said their target right now is to get the machines by the end of this year adding one could cost around three million dollars.
Tikolevu said right now they are relying on intelligence and information sharing between the Oceania Customs Organisation members which consists of 23 members, including Australia and New Zealand.
