The Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority Board has rejected COLA payouts for all staff and opted for bonus payments based on this year's performance.
Board Chairman, Filipe Bole told Village News that the board has decided on a 2% bonus for only those people who deserve the payment.
Meanwhile, FIRCA Staff Association General Secretary, Kenneth Zinck has threatened to take industrial action if the COLA payment is not made in January as promised earlier by the FIRCA CEO, Jitoko Tikolevu. He said the union is not happy with Filipe Bole's decision.
