The Fiji Island Revenue and Customs Authority has been holding a series of meetings with the FIRCA Officers and Staff Association to ensure that the log of claims and Cola payments are settled.
Speaking to Village news, Association General Secretary, Kenneth Zinck said that the Authority and the Association have made headways so far and they hope to finalise a few matters by the end of the year.
FIRCA has put together a team that has been having weekly meetings with the Association and said that talks are progressing well.
Meanwhile, Zinck also reveals that FIRCA has re-instated two officials who were suspended earlier for allegedly being involved in corrupt practises due to insufficent evidence against them.
