The Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority Employees and Staff Association is happy with the response they are getting from the Authority on the Association's log of claims for 2007, which includes a 5 percent COLA claim for members.
Association General Secretary, Kenneth Zinck says FIRCA has put together a team that has been having weekly meetings with the Association.
The Association is also seeking assistance from the Ministry of Labour regarding the termination of a staff member following allegations of a tax scam and leaking information to the media.
Acting FIRCA Chief Executive, Jitoko Tikolevu is expected to comment later today.
