Lautoka police are questioning a staff member of Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority in relation to a robbery at the FIRCA warehouse in Lautoka last week.

Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said the staff member was taking in yesterday afternoon and added police are already questioning 3 other people in relation to the same case.

It is alleged that three people assaulted the FIRCA security officer, tied him with a rope and locked him in a room.

They then allegedly robbed 10 laptops and a bag full of assorted liquor from the warehouse.

According to police, the robbery took place during a stock take of confiscated items.
