The Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs authority has managed to put on hold a strike action plan by their staff association after they agreed to certain concessions.

Secretary for the Authority's staff association, Kenneth Zinck reveals that in the concessions reached, a total of 40 people will be receiving an increase in salary from 21 thousand to 27 thousand dollars and unestablished staff enjoying the status fulltime workers.

FIRCA is yet to comment on the matter.
