The Fiji Island Revenue and Customs have decided to re-instate 50% of the overpayment recovery owed to FIRCA staff at the Nadi International Airport today after the Staff Association had threatened to walk off their jobs.
FIRCOSA General Secretary Kenneth Zinck said the company decided to deduct the overpayment recovery from the workers pay tomorrow which means $700 to $900 will be deducted.
Zinck confirms the other 50% will be re-instated tomorrow.
