FIFA censors match action
Replays of Argentina's disputed first goal against Mexico triggered arguments on the pitch as Mexico's players protested when Carlos Tevez was shown as being clearly offside.
FIFA spokesman Nicolas Maingot said replaying the incident was a clear mistake adding this will be corrected and they will have a closer look into that.
Meanwhile, FIFA has refused to comment on mistakes made by officials in the World Cup playoffs, or the potential future use of goal line technology.
England's Frank Lampard was denied a goal against Germany, despite shot having clearly crossed the line.
At its daily briefing yesterday, Maingot said it was "not the place" to discuss such issues.
Meanwhile, Brazil manager Dunga has demanded a significant improvement from his team despite a 3 0 victory over Chile this morning.
The five time world champions booked a quarter final slot against the Netherlands courtesy of goals from Juan, Luis Fabiano and Robinho.
Brazil will now be taking on Netherlands in the World Cup quarter finals on Saturday morning at 2am.
Looking at the playoff matches this morning, Netherlands beat Slovakia 2-1 while Brazil overcame Chile 3-1.
