Executives of the Fiji Islands Council of Trade Unions will meet this morning to decide their next step after the interim government shifted the second term school holidays, rendering the Fiji Teachers Association's strike as ineffective.

However Speaking to Village News, FTA General Secretary Tevita Koroi believes that their strike will still have the desired impact as their affiliates, the Public Employees Union and the Viti National Union of Taukei Workers are still required to be at work.
