The Fiji Island Council of Trade Unions are not intimidated by television footage shown last night of police and army training exercises to be supposedly executed in the event of a nationwide strike.
This is the view of FICTU General Secretary, Attar Singh who adds that although it is a worry, it will be one that will have to be considered in their plans.
Singh adds that there will not be a need for the police and army to apply that tactic as the unions have been working within the confines of the law.
FNA General Secretary, Kuini Lutua shares the same sentiments in that no one is intimidated by the footage.
