The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption is expected to question Commissioner Northern, Misieli Naivalu soon.
Naivalu who is on leave pending investigations, is being investigated in relations to abuse of funds, abuse of office and other criminal offences.
According to a senior investigator, they are now going through documents obtained from the Commissioner Northern office and once they have gone through all the necessary documents, Naivalu is expected to be charged.
It is also alleged that Naivalu played a big role in the alleged abuse of the flood assistance scheme.
Meanwhile, two senior officials of the Commissioner Northern office, who are also being investigated and are currently on leave, are expected to be questioned soon.
