The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption is expected to charge a former senior executive of the Fiji Sports Council within the next few days.

A number of files and financial reports were removed from the Sports Council offices early this year and after a full analysis of all the documents and interviews with the council staff, FICAC investigators are ready to take the next step.

FICAC spokesperson, Semi Koroi confirms that they have found several incidents of alleged corrupt practices and abuse of office involving the former senior executive of the Sports Council.
