The Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption are still questioning a former Magistrate who served in the Central/Eastern Division.

Chief Investigator, Inspector Isireli Tagicaki confirms his officers are in the last process of investigation and charges are expected to be laid this evening.

Tagicaki said if charges are laid then the former Magistrate will appear at the Suva Magistrates court tomorrow morning.

The former Magistrate is alleged to have been involved in corrupt practices.

The former Magistrate was locked up in the cell overnight at the Central Police Station following his arrest.
