FICAC has received more than 5,756 complaints since its establishment in April 2007.
Last year a total of 777 complaints were received.
In 2008 the figure was 2,851 while a total of 2,128 complaints were received in 2007.
According to FICAC 3,488 complaints were reported in person and 879 cases have been registered for investigation.
A total of 246 charged cases have been registered.
