Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption officers are again at the Fijian Holdings Limited and Fiji Development Bank offices in Suva today to look for certain files.

FICAC Chief Investigator, SP Nazir Ali said they are still in the process of gathering evidence in relation to certain complaints of alleged corruption and abuse of office, before making further public statements.

SP Ali also said that they are grateful that the executives at the two institutions are assisting to ensure that the allegations are investigated.

The two institutions were raided by FICAC on Friday and Fijian Holdings Chief Executive Officer Jaoji Koroi confirmed earlier that it appears FICAC is focusing on their shareholder base.

FDB and Fijian Holdings say they have elected not to question the legality of FICAC's actions and have cooperated with them to clear the allegations to ensure that employees are safeguarded.
