A new step taken by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption today as it launched its website which people can access and file their complaints in relation to corrupt practices.
While launching the website in the last hour, Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama said they are doing their best to achieve the mandate set out by the President Ratu Josefa Iloilo.
Bainimarama said more than thirty cases have been taken to court by FICAC and they have got one conviction since they started about two years ago.
Bainimarama said the United Nations Convention Against Corruption recognizes FICAC as a major player in the global fight against corruption.
He said FICAC is in the process of securing international assistance in terms of training and knowledge to its officers on how to deal with Corruption matters and urged the people to support the organization.
With the new website, www.ficac.org.fj you can lodge your corruption complaint directly on the website.
