The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption has started investigating some Native Land Trust Board staff from the Suva and Lautoka offices.
Manager investigation Major Sanaila Seru confirmed the investigation surrounds the renewing and transfer of land leases.
According to Seru, they have received complaints that the procedure of awarding and transferring some land leases were not properly followed.
More information regarding the investigation has not been released.
According to FICAC, this investigation is separate from the one conducted on Former General Manager Kalivati Bakani.
