The Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption has identified key ministries and government departments that will be investigated first.
The newly appointed Deputy FICAC Commissioner, LT Colonel Wesley Langman said they are now focusing on the Public Works Department, Land Transport Authority, Fisheries Department and the Water Supply Department on allegations of Corruption, Bribery and Nepotism.
A number of officials holding senior positions are being investigated in relation to these allegations.
He said that the investigation has just started and an update will be provided to the media soon.
