The Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption maintains that they followed procedures before seizing documents from the office of Doctor Ramon Angco earlier this year.
Deputy FICAC Commissioner, Lt Colonel Wesley Langman said there is nothing wrong in the actions they have taken to secure the documents.
The documents in question range from ledgers and statements which were for Doctor Angco's three businesses which according to his lawyer, Gavin O'Driscoll is the property of his client.
O'Driscoll is asking the High Court to recover the documents since the Commission, saying that after seizing the documents FICAC has not used them in investigations.
Doctor Angco is charged with larceny by trick for allegedly obtaining over $70 000 dollars from various people through trickery.
