The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption has obtained a search warrant signed by a Resident Magistrate to obtain information regarding tax issues from the Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority.

FICAC spokesperson Inspector Loraini Seru confirms that the search warrant was obtained from the magistrate to start some of the major investigations.

However, when Villge News questioned Inspector Seru on which magistrate signed the search warrant, she denied revealing the name saying that it is not for public consumption.
