The Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption has today denied receiving any requests from the Public Accounts Committee to investigate the State affairs at the Lami Fish Terminal.

In its latest report the Public Accounts Committee said it was concerned that there were two wharves however upon further investigation found out that the Committee was able to establish that the Fisheries Wharf referred to by in the Auditor General's report was actually the Lami Fish Terminal Facility which was used by Fiji Fish Limited.

According to the report, the two parties appeared to be talking at cross purposes, with a lease agreement being reached between National Trading Corporation and Fiji Fish.

FICAC however confirms that they have received the report from the Accounts Committee and the Auditor General and are carrying out separate studies at the moment, refusing to reveal any their details.
