The Fiji Human Rights Commission (FHRC) has expressed satisfaction that the accuracy of its March 31st 2008 Investigation Report into the Australian Intervention in Fiji in October - November 2006 has been confirmed by the Australian Government Report of the Blackhawk 221 Board of Inquiry released recently.
Chairperson Doctor Shaista Shameem said however, there is new information which was not covered in the FHRC Investigation Report.
Shameem added this information should not be forgotten in talks between Pacific Island leaders in Niue.
