The Ombudsman has revealed that she has received the letter addressed to her from Opposition leader Mick Beddoes demanding an official explanation regarding the deportation of Fiji Times publisher, Evan Hannah.
Dr Shaista Shameem told FijiVillage that she received the letter and after consideration has replied but refused to reveal any other details saying it is up to Beddoes to reveal the contents of his letter.
Beddoes also called for an investigation into the deportation of both Hannah and Fiji Sun Publisher, Rusell Hunter saying that it is the constitutional thing to do.
Doctor Shameem also said that nothing can be done or said at the moment as the matter is before the courts.
