The Fiji Human Rights Director, Shaista Shameem said she has advised the interim government to lift the travel bans as comments made overseas by our people can be handled by the interim regime.
These comments come in light of the recent travel bans on Suva lawyer, Graham Leung and FWCC Coordinator and Human Rights Commissioner, Shameema Ali at the Nadi International Airport yesterday.
Shameem goes on to say people's rights are still intact under the constitution and that they should be free to do what they want.
