With the initial aim of encouraging taukei participation in the commercial sector, Fijian Holdings Group today celebrated their twenty five years in operations in the country.

While opening the celebrations at the Suva Civic Centre, Chief Guest Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said the group of companies have come a long way from its humble beginnings in 1984, and today has the portfolio of nine subsidiary companies, with 842 shareholders, earning an average of $230 million in revenue annually.

Bainimarama said the theme of the celebrations "Growing Beyond Fiji" is in line with the government's plans to increase exports.
