Two appointments were announced by Fijian Holdings Limited yesterday for two of its subsidiary companies.
FHL managing director Sereana Qoro has appointed Mosese Volavola as chief executive officer for Basic Industries Limited and Fiji Industries Limited and Tim Stonhill as general manager for Blue Lagoon Cruises Limited.
Qoro said Volavola will be responsible for the successful management of BIL and FIL.
Prior to this appointment, Volavola was general manager for Standard Concrete Industries.
Volavola will be the second local in the history of the company to assume this role.
Meanwhile Stonhill has been in the Tourism Industry for more than 30 years and he joined Blue Lagoon from the Grand Hotel International in Christchurch.
