The Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of Fijian Holdings Limited have been reinstated with immediate effect.
In a statement issued by Fijian Holdings Limited Acting Chairman Iowane Naiveli, he confirmed that the Corporate Governance Audit has been completed and a report has been presented to the Prime Minister.
Naiveli said the Prime Minister, in receiving the report is satisfied and has decided that the Chairman Isoa Kaloumaira, Deputy Chairman Lt Colonel Mohammed Aziz and Managing Director Sereana Qoro to be reinstated immediately.
Naiveli also said its business as usual in the FHL Group.
The government had started proceedings to investigate Fijian Holdings Limited last Friday.
Permanent Secretary for Information and Military Spokesperson Lt Colonel Neumi Leweni said as a first step, government had asked Fijian Holdings Chairman, Isoa Kaloumaira and group Managing Director, Sereana Qoro to step aside to allow the investigations to proceed without hindrance.
Lt Colonel Leweni clarified that only Kaloumaira and Qoro were asked to step aside to allow for investigations.
