The Champion versus Champion soccer series will be replaced with the Champions League.

This was decided during the Fiji Football Association's Council meeting yesterday.

Fiji FA President Dr. Shams UD Dean Sahu Khan said a new format will be implemented to the current CVC competition.

National Football League, Vodafone Fiji FACT, Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants and Courts Inter District Championship winners will gain the right alongside a National U 23 side to feature in the new Champions League.

Lautoka are the defending champions of the Champion versus champion soccer series.
