We are hoping that the 2010 National Budget announcement next week will take into consideration productivity, price control and import protection as per our budget submissions earlier this year.
These are the sentiments of Fiji Employers Federation President Digby Bossley who said it would be good to see their issues addressed when the Prime Minister announces the Budget next Friday.
The Federation had also asked for a decrease in the number of public holidays from 12 to 11, the construction and road maintenance to be hired out to private companies as well as an export market development scheme to help exporters, among other issues.
